| 11/6/2009 | In September 2008 the framework for Level 2 NVQ in Multi-skilled Hospitality Services changed, which meant that candidates were only allowed to select two Level 1 optional units as part of this qualification.
The Hospitality SSC, People 1st, has recently informed awarding bodies that this modification was based on information which has subsequently changed. The rules now state that only 50% (instead of 60%) of the units have to be at the same level as the qualification.
Consequently, the rules of the framework for the Level 2 NVQ in Multi-skilled Hospitality Services will revert to its original status, where candidates may select up to three Level 1 optional units.
The Level 2 NVQ in Multi-skilled Hospitality Services Framework on HABZone has now been amended. Centres should therefore continue to register candidates on H298A. | |
