HAB VRQ Short Courses
There are two levels of HAB VRQ Short Courses.
Level 1
Level 1 VRQs are one-day courses, with a true / false exam at the end. Marking is handled by HAB. You choose exactly when to run courses, and the test can be held on the same or a later date.

VRQ11 HAB Level 1 in Hospitality Customer Service

VRQ12 HAB Level 1 in Hospitality Selling

VRQ13 HAB Level 1 in Conflict Handling

VRQ14 HAB Level 1 in Customer Service

VRQ15 HAB Level 1 in Selling
Level 2
VRQ Level 2 qualifications are courses run over 45 hours. A HAB set assignment is given to the candidates at the start of this period, and is completed and handed in for marking at the centre. A mark-scheme is also provided to help internal marking.

You pick the start date for the course, to meet the needs of you and your candidates and all assignment papers are downloaded from our secure website at the start of the assessment.

How to become approved
1. Read the HAB Hospitality VRQ Tutor Requirements.

2. Read the HAB Generic/Service Sector VRQ Tutor Requirements.

3. Follow the VRQ approved centre criteria - self-assessment checklist.

4. Please complete:
  • Either the Level 1 approval form, or the Level 2 approval form
  • 5. If you are a new HAB centre, please complete:
  • Direct Debit Form
  • New Centre's Statement of Intent
  • and the Credit Application Form
  • Please return your completed approval form(s) to us:
